It's been a busy semester so far, and it looks like it won't lighten up till the end of March! While stressful, it's a lot of fun too, with playing lots of notes and teaching lots of students, plus a bunch of administrative tasks (generally those are the stress-inducing items!). Currently it's audition season, and I've had the pleasure of working with a number of talented and aspiring violists that I hope will become part of the Ball State family next year. It's exciting to see so many young people who are excited about classical music!

Speaking of which, I'm really looking forward to Violapalooza tomorrow. The event is hosted by the fabulous Karin Code and Kalamazoo College, in Michigan. I'll be teaching and playing, and giving a presentation on hearing health (SO important!). I think it's going to be a real blast. If you're nearby, please come join us. The event starts at 9:30 AM tomorrow morning in the Dalton Theater in the Fine Arts Building at Kalamazoo College.

Happy practicing!
