A little Easter music

It is a gorgeous day in Muncie today! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the weather is warm and very pleasant. It's a wonderful change from the long, dreary winter we've had. Today it actually feels like Spring has sprung.

I even cleaned the whole house today. I'm not sure what got in to me, but after breakfast, I started tidying up, and before I knew it, the whole house was vacuumed, all laundry and dishes were clean and put away, and even my desk was free from the stacks of papers it had on it last night. And this was all before noon!

I had lunch with my neighbors, who invited me over for a barbecue cookout. It was really nice. And then I practiced for a bit, though currently I'm a little lost with what to practice. I need a new project, but don't know for what-- Fall recital probably, but that feels so far away, and having just finished this semester's big recitals, I am floundering trying to decide what to program next.

So, after a short, fairly unproductive practice session, I decided to listen to some of my February recital. Turns out I'm really happy with how my Hindemith went, so I edited it, and now here it is, ready for you to watch.

Also, in case you missed it last week, our Hibiki Trio recital video can still be streamed here until 15 April. We go on stage at about 14 minutes in to the video.

Happy practicing!
