Ball State University

I am finally ready to announce my big news: After an extremely long, intense, and nerve-wracking interview and audition season, I am so happy to announce that I was offered and have accepted the position of Assistant Professor of Viola at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

In addition to beautiful facilities (the music instruction building was completed in 2004!) the faculty and administration that I met while visiting were really wonderful people. I am excited about working and collaborating with them, and of course to be able to build a Tuttle-inspired Coordination viola studio in Indiana.

While part of me is sad to be leaving Texas Tech, I think Ball State has a lot to offer (including the Human Performance Laboratory, where hopefully I'll be able to continue and refine my research on string-instrumentalist injuries!), and I truly am ecstatic about my upcoming move to the Midwest.

Happy practicing!
