Another marathon day

This whole professor thing is exhausting! And I haven't taught a single lesson yet! :)

After another morning of auditions, I spent most of the rest of the day in front of my computer, trying to deal with STUFF.

In the afternoon, I met with my students for our first studio class-- I have 17 enrolled students! This is very different than the 5 I had last semester at TWU. Scheduling lessons is a bit different than I'm used to:

In addition to the scheduling headache, I am also try to finagle a few international recruiting trips. I don't want to say too much about that, because I don't know if any of them will work out, but suffice it to say, there is a LOT going on right now.

Tomorrow I meet with the fantastic Nataliya Sukhina for a read-through of the Brahms E-flat viola and piano sonata. At least there'll be a nice respite amidst the craziness of the beginning of the semester!

Happy practicing!
